Anna is a 13 year-old-girl who has a sister with cancer. She sues her parents so she can have medical rights. The whole story shows how everyone is feeling about everything.
I cried for a hour after reading this book. The fear that if one thing goes wrong she could die. When my Mom had cancer I felt the floor give way and let me fall down to a bottomless pit. I am still climbing out. Even hers couldn't kill her just having it scared me. I lost all control or my life, everything I did she controlled. Anna wants to have a normal life but can't without having the title " her sister has cancer" It's not like I don't want her here I just want the title to leave me alone.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a strong connection to this book and what Anna must be feeling. No one but people who have been through similar situations could possibly know what it is like-- you are a very strong person!
